Malaysia's esports industry has long outgrown its hobby status — it's become a national phenomenon. From the inaugural MPL Malaysia season to today's sports headlines, local team names like RSG, Team HAQ, and EVOS Malaysia are household names among dedicated fans. And for those who don't just watch but also participate in betting, Sobat500 stands out as the most complete platform and the best fit for the Malaysian market.
What sets Sobat500 apart from other platforms isn't just the number of games or the breadth of markets — though those are genuinely far superior. More importantly, it's the overall experience. From the moment you open the app, select a match, place your bet, and receive your winnings — every step is designed to feel smooth, fast, and free of unnecessary friction.
No game holds a closer place in the hearts of Malaysian esports fans than Mobile Legends Bang Bang. Season after season, MPL Malaysia proves just how deep the roots of the local MLBB community run. At Sobat500, you can bet on every MPL MY match — not just on the match winner, but also on map handicaps, total kills, which team draws First Blood, and many other specific metrics that are genuinely meaningful to anyone who closely follows the MLBB Malaysia scene.
MPL Malaysia odds at Sobat500 are among the most competitive in the market. We partner with live sports data providers so every odds movement is visible to you in real time — not 10 minutes behind like you'd often experience on other platforms. For high-stakes matches such as the MPL Grand Final or MSC qualifier matches, Sobat500 opens markets early so you have ample time to analyse and make your decisions without rushing.
For fans of world-class esports, Sobat500 also provides full coverage of DOTA 2 The International, ESL Pro League CS2, and all major Majors. This goes well beyond the basics — our markets for these titles run deep enough to satisfy experienced bettors who know how to read team statistics, current player form, and head-to-head history.
For CS2, for example, you can go beyond just betting on who wins the first map — you can also wager on total rounds in a map, whether the game goes to overtime, and who lands the first ace. These kinds of markets are rarely found on platforms that treat esports betting as an afterthought. At Sobat500, it's a core focus.
One of the most common frustrations among Malaysian players is the complexity of deposits and withdrawals. At Sobat500, we understand local needs. That's why we fully support the most widely used payment methods in Malaysia:
Winnings are processed in under 5 minutes for most methods — not an empty promise, but our platform's standard operating procedure.
Your Data Protection & Privacy
All transactions and account information on Sobat500 are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your personal data will not be shared with any third party without your consent, in compliance with Malaysia's data protection laws. For full details on how we handle your information, please review our Privacy Policy ours.
The esports world moves fast. New games rise, new scenes emerge, and the Malaysian community is always at the forefront. Sobat500 is committed to adding new esports titles as quickly as possible once they start gaining traction in competitive betting. Valorant VCT Pacific is already live on our platform, and we're in the process of adding more markets for Free Fire FFML and other rapidly growing scenes in Malaysia.
For players new to e-sports betting, Sobat500 also provides a beginner's guide covering how to read odds, understand different market types, and manage your betting budget responsibly. You can access it in the Betting Tips.
New Sobat500 members who make their first deposit specifically into the esports section are eligible for an exclusive esports credit bonus of up to RM200. These credits can be used to bet on any esports match available on the platform — not limited to specific titles. That means you can explore all the games on offer and get a feel for real betting without taking on too much risk upfront.
On top of that, Sobat500's weekly cashback programme also applies to e-sports betting. If the week doesn't go your way, 15% of your net losses will be returned to your account every Monday — ensuring you always have a bankroll to keep betting on the next match.
One of the most popular features among experienced players at Sobat500 is in-play betting — the ability to place bets while a match is still in progress. In esports, momentum can shift in an instant. A single successful teamfight can turn the tide within seconds. With in-play betting at Sobat500, you can put your in-game analysis to work and find value in dynamically moving odds as the action unfolds.
This does take attention and experience. But for those who have followed the ML or DOTA scene for a long time, it's an opportunity to put that knowledge to better use than pre-match betting alone.
A simple four-step process — from registration to your first bet, up and running in under 5 minutes.
Start Your JourneyOpen the registration page and fill in your phone number and basic details. OTP verification takes just a few seconds. Your account is instantly active — no lengthy process or documents required to get started.
Choose the Malaysian deposit method that suits you — Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, DuitNow, or FPX. Enter your desired amount and funds will be credited to your Sobat500 account in under a minute. Your welcome bonus is credited automatically.
Head to the Esports section, choose your favourite game title, then check the match schedule and current odds. You can filter by game, date, or live status to find the matches that interest you most.
Select your market type, enter your stake, and confirm your bet slip. Follow the match live via in-app streaming on Sobat500, and your winnings will be credited immediately once the official result is announced.
It's not just luck — players who win consistently on Sobat500 follow a structured approach.
Before placing a bet, check the last 5–10 match results for the teams involved. Current form is more relevant than long-term reputation — especially in esports, where rosters can change frequently.
Set a daily betting limit before you start. Don't chase losses by increasing your stakes without a sound analytical basis. Players who win in the long run always bet within their means.
It's better to know one game deeply than to know a little about everything. Expertise in ML or CS2, for instance, lets you spot value in odds that others tend to overlook.
Odds for major matches are usually better a few hours before kick-off than in the final minutes when volume surges. Decide earlier to get better value.
Last-minute player or roster changes can dramatically affect the outcome. Follow the Malaysian esports community and official team channels for the latest updates before a match kicks off.
E-sports betting at Sobat500 is meant to add to the excitement of watching — not to be treated as a primary source of income. Keep your expectations realistic and make sure you're still enjoying every match.
Register at Sobat500 now and get an e-sports bonus of up to RM200 on your first deposit. Best odds, pay via Touch 'n Go, processed in under 2 minutes.
